Bedding and Mattress Products

If you aren't satisfied with your bedding or mattresses, the items may be returned to us within 7 days of purchase. Should you wish to return any items please contact us in writing (see contact us page) telling us what you want to return and the reason why and we will issue you with a returns number. This number must be included in the parcel along with details of the products you are returning. The goods need to be returned in a resalable condition and in all their original, undamaged packaging. If the product returned is not in a fully resalable condition or the packaging is damaged, we reserve the right to refuse a refund on the item. This does not effect your statutory rights. Mattress or bedding sets which has been taken out of its sealed packaging in which it was delivered cannot be returned for hygiene reasons. Any costs associated with returning an item must be paid for by you the customer, unless goods are faulty. Please ensure that you read the care instructions on each individual item, as unfortunately we cannot accept items for refund or exchange it they have been damaged in the washing machine. We recommend you obtain a free 'Certificate of posting' from the post office, as we cannot accept responsibility for parcels lost in transit. For peace of mind you might want to send the goods Recorded Delivery, but we regret we cannot refund this charge.

Furniture

Orders for stock items (products available to purchase directly from the website) can be cancelled, partially refunded and returned after 14 days at the discretion of Bambizi. Requests to do so must be made in writing. All cancelations or returns will be subject to a 20% return fee, plus the cost of delivery (if already booked and/or delivered), plus the cost of the return delivery by Bambizi ltd (where applicable), plus any other reasonable costs accrued by Bambizi.Bespoke pieces are non-refundable after 14 days of the ordering being placed.Once an order has been placed, the cost of any alterations, administrative costs, and additional/updated design drawings will be charged to the customer. Bambizi can not be held responsible for any resulting delays.

 

Normal shrinkage, swelling, hairline cracks and minor warpage of furniture are to be expected and is not a structural defect and is therefore not covered. Our craftsman try to match grain patterns. But due to a variety of different influences that effect individual trees, variations will occur and will be evident in your furniture to varying degrees. A variation in grain pattern is not considered defective and is not a reason for returns. All cancellations must be in writing. Storage of Goods

 

Bambizi is able to store goods for you in our warehouse until you would like delivery if you are not ready to recive them. If we have to store goods for longer than 8 weeks then a storage charge will be added at £40 per week.

Bespoke

As we are a small company offering bespoke, made to order products, we cannot accept returns or cancellations once work has begun. Please ensure all details are correct when placing your order, and that you are happy with all design decisions. We reserve the right to charge for any changes to designs once work on your order has started.

We endeavour to always send out quality products, however mistakes can happen. Should you receive faulty or damaged goods, we will of course repair or replace the item. Please provide a detailed description in writing, with images if possible, of any areas of damage. See the products and materials section for what we deem as acceptable ‘character’ within the wood.

In the case of faulty or damaged goods, or an incorrect order being received, we will ensure all necessary steps are taken to provide you with the correct item/s, however we cannot offer any further discounts or refunds.

For Bespoke Products we will notify you of the estimated delivery date when we start making or customising the product in our workshop. The estimated completion date for the product will be notified to you during the order process. Given the bespoke nature of the products, you have agreed that any such date shall be an estimate and time shall not be of the essence to this agreement. If you need a Bespoke Product by a particular date then you must notify us and we and you must agree it as a specific exception.

Our usual refund policy does not apply to special-order Products. Where the Buyer has selected a specific colour or non stock item is ordered, this Product is classified as a made-to-order Product. All of our High end products are also considered thus. If a made-to-order Product is cancelled within a few days of placing the order we may be able to offer a full refund however if the Product has gone to production this will not be possible. If this is the case it is unlikely that the Seller will be able to sell it at full selling price therefore a cancellation charge restocking fee of 35% will be deducted from the refund. This does not affect your statutory rights.

We will always endeavour to complete orders within the estimated lead time, however, due to the nature of the orders and how they are made, delays may occur. Should an item(s) be delayed for any reason, we are unable to cover losses, accept returns, offer refunds, reimbursements, discounts or compensation.

Returning Goods 

You must take reasonable care of the goods while they are in your possession and if you fail to comply with this obligation, we may have a right of action against you for damages, and a refund can be refused. This duty of care includes the products being sent back in the original, unmarked or undamaged packaging or in a good enough quality transport packaging to avoid any damage during the transportation back to our warehouse.

The Goods must be returned to us in the same condition in which you received them in their original packaging and in a resaleable condition. We retain the right to refuse a refund on any item not deemed resaleable.

If you have received the Goods you must return the Goods to us. To assist customers we can offer a collection service for medium and large items only. Any charges related to the collection will be passed on to the customer and deducted from any refund.

Damaged items will not be replaced if your product has been assembled or if the item is located at a different address than the shipping address on the Order.

Items must not have been used or assembled in any way.Returns cannot be accepted once the assembly process has begun.

We do not accept responsibility for items lost or damaged in transit.

Refunds will be credited to your card, bank or Paypal account within 30 days from receipt of your returned goodsin our warehouse or notification of your cancellation in writing.

We will usually refund any money received from you using the same method originally used by you to pay for your purchase.

We will deduct from the refund:

(a) our reasonable carriage, insurance and freight charges for Goods that are in transit to the United Kingdom at the time of cancellation; and

(b) our reasonable delivery charges if you cancel/return your order after you have received the Goods

(c) any collection charges if you cancel after you have received the Goods and request us to collect your Goods
